Pick Your Own Flowers
Explore the beauty of seasonal flowers - Various dates
Workshop Information
Join us in the flower field to pick your own flowers to enjoy at home. Spend a relaxing hour or so wandering the flower field and choosing your own blooms. Saturdays 9.30am-11am 26th July, 9th August, 16th August, 23rd August, 13th September On the morning we will have buckets & scissors for you to use in the field. If you would prefer to wear gloves whilst cutting, please bring them with you. You can either bring a bucket with you to transport your flowers home in or we will wrap them in paper for you. When you arrive, we will show you how to cut the flowers and how to condition them and you will then be able to browse the field at your leisure and pick whatever you fancy. Pick your own T&C If you have booked a place for pick your own and are unable to attend on the day, we are unable to offer a refund, however you are welcome to send someone else in your place but do please let us know. Pick your own flowers will still take place if there is light rain so, please dress accordingly. If we have to cancel the event due to unsuitable weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you an alternative date or fresh cut flowers to the same value. If we are unable to provide either of these then a full refund will be given. Flowers at our pick your own events may not last quite as long as flowers we have cut ourselves. This is because we have the experience to know when exactly to pick the flowers to give maximum vase life and we fully condition the flowers before they leave our site. An information sheet will be given out at the pyo event which will explain how to condition your flower to get the best vase life. Flowers must fit into the bucket provided, any additional stems cut that do not will be charged at £1 per stem. Please note our flower farm is situated on a working farm so please be aware of other vehicles and machinery moving around and rough ground. The site is not suitable for young children and may be difficult for those with disabilities to navigate. For more info on this please get in touch. Unfortunately, we are unable to allow dogs onto our site. In the rare occurrence of hot weather please be aware we have no shade at the field so bring sun protection/drink. Thank you!
